VEK provides "hands on" management leadership using the principals of introducing and infusing "best of breed" practices in corporate functions such as capitalization planning, finance and control, human and resource management and corporate governance.
2. STRONG ADVISORY BOARD
VEK established an advisory board consisting of local business and government leaders who actively contribute to the investment process by providing in-depth experience, network opportunities, and proprietary deal flow. In VEK we employ enhanced performance matrices to monitor key value drivers, identify trends, and respond promptly to problems.
3. DISTINCTIVE BUSINESS MODEL
VEK acquires only control or joint control positions to ensure that our proven strategy is successfully implemented. We consistently function as both the general partner and as a significant limited partner in all of the investments we manage. Most of our revenues arise from capital gains, and we are extremely confident that our model provides for a full alignment of interests among our several stakeholders.
